Branch Ministries Africa

Branch Ministries was established in 1996 as Robert & Mary Grindley answered the call to preach the Gospel in Africa. Since that time they have been involved in many types of ministry and currently reside in Selebi-Phikwe, a mining town in central Botswana with a population of approximately 65,000. Branch Ministries now includes works and projects of church planting, evangelistic outreaches, leadership conferences, Branch Bible Courses (one year ministerial training) , Powerhouse Sports, Ladies of Virtue & Excellence, Children Of Promise (orphan project), and Marriage & Parenting Seminars.

Below we are featuring one of our Branch Ministries employees, Sipho Gwabeni. Sipho is 32 years old and teamed with Branch Ministries in June of 2010. His main duties include coaching and working at Powerhouse Sports, and he is also very involved in church evangelism and visitation. Sipho  helps the church through his heartfelt worship, taking his place on the worship team. He was orphaned at age 14, and entered a life of drugs and crime. He gave his life to the Lord in 1998 in our church in Francistown, Botswana. Sipho has come to know  us as dad & mom and we are very proud of the man of God he is becoming, and he is currently a student in training at Branch Bible Courses. He has an 18-year old son and hopes to be married this year. Enjoy a song he led in church this past week...
